Mesilla Valley Hospice opened their new building on May 14, highlighting the completion of their capital campaign “Continuing the Dream”.
The expansion project includes a 28,000 square foot expansion of La Posada, the In Home Care Center, an RV Parking Area, a Rotary community conference room and the expansion and completion of outside landscaping and garden areas.
Jackie Clark, a local artist, completed a stunning stained glass feature in the chapel using the talents of several other artists. Families were able to memorialize their loved ones with specific panes completed in their honor.
Mesilla Valley Hospice is a nonprofit organization that joins families throughout Doña Ana County who need assistance with end of life care. Hospice services are provided in the home, in Assisted Living Facilities, Nursing Homes and in their own facility, La Posada.
