| Ruidoso is home to a premier condominium resort that will make you feel right at home with all the quality and comfort a place can offer.
Opened toward the end of 2008, the Ruidoso River Resort & Inn is located on the Rio Ruidoso River, situated just below mid-town where classy boutiques, unique galleries, charming restaurants and entertainment venues can be found.
The resort is unique in the way it is situated in the town and the way it is designed. A stay for a weekend, week, month or even longer, can almost guarantee a calming experience with the Rio Ruidoso River flowing beneath private balconies or a view of the stunning waterfall situated in the resort’s courtyard.
The resort offers 37 units that come with one, two or three bedrooms. Each beautifully designed by Ruidoso River Resort Vice President Nancy Norton, the accommodations include luxury furnishings like leather furniture, wrought iron fixtures and stunning home décor items. Each unit also includes a gas fireplace, refrigerated air, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, king size beds with private baths, 42-inch flat panel television with an 88 channel package and DVD player, washer/dryer in the units, individual storage units and river view private patios.
In the middle of the resort, guests can relax in a common area hot tub or come together in the courtyard complete with a waterfall and scenery that is true to the natural surroundings. Gas grills sit before an outdoor fire pit with enough seating for family and friends. A fully equipped exercise room can be found in the main lodge with a gathering room complete with kitchen, fireplace and television.
When not in the room, Ruidoso offers a quaint village with a wide variety of shopping and entertainment venues. The Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino offers a full Vegas-style casino and the Ruidoso Downs Race Track provides racing entertainment with thoroughbred and quarter horse racing. Historic venues include the Hubbard Museum of the American West, Old Lincoln and Billy the Kid State and National Historic Sites, Fort Stanton Military Outpost and the Mescalero Apache Cultural Center. Along with plenty to choose from, Ruidoso offers blue skies and mountain air in the spring and summer and snow in the winter to support the thrilling Ski Apache Ski Area. |
